I am glad I didn’t deflat my ball after our son was born! He had severe colic and the only thing that would calm him was me GENTLY bouncing on the ball with him in my arms.

I used the birthing ball myself and really loved the comfort of it. I also used it during pregnancy to sit on when working at my desk as it was the most comfortable way to sit, and when baby was born, I use to sit on the ball with baby upright over shoulder while gently bouncing up & down to calm baby or for winding. It worked really well!
